Reunion
Portraits - Individual and Group
Here are the posed portraits taken by the guys at LaserServ. Many thanks
to John Cadigan for his generous donation of time and materials - making
these keepsakes possible for the class.
Reunion Weekend Photo Albums
We've grouped a series of slide shows by the classmate who took the
photos. Hope you like them. Some are candid, some posed. They include photos
from the entire weekend.

What can I say that already hasn't been said
but I'll say it too, what a wonderful time I had. Being able to spend the
evening together was too great for words. You all made my life's circle
complete. I am now experiencing partial blindness that started after Ron
and I came home. The love and joy that you all gave me cannot be measured.
Thank you too for the many hats and scarves, what a selfless act. My
friend was amazed. They will be helping a lot of women to restore some of
their dignity. Continue to celebrate life and friendships.
Love to you all, Nancy

As a member of the reunion committee I am at a
loss for words to describe the tremendous joy I feel at how successful
our "party" was. It was evident from the beginning of the evening that
we were witnessing and participating in something very special. I have
never seen so many smiling faces in one place at one time in my life. I
could look around the room and see the sheer joy of our classmates as
they reconnected with old friends and made some new ones.
When I walked into the first committee meeting a year ago, I didn't know
what to expect...how would we recognize each other, would we feel
awkward. After that first meeting it was apparent that we had a great
group of people dedicated to making this reunion special. Through all
the meetings and the happy hours, we came to love and respect each
other.
Vicki Hall...I am so glad I saw you at that seminar in Virginia and that
you were there Saturday night, it made me feel good.
I would like to personally thank Doug for being our fearless leader and
putting enough trust in us to get the job done. I also want to
personally thank Mark and Rick Henry for the outstanding job they did on
the website. If you don't personally know these 3 people, you are
missing out. Ellen, you did a knock out job with the Holiday Inn...and
you're a great friend. Joe, thanks for the many laughs we had at the
meetings and for being such a great guy. To Mike, John, Sally, BJ,
Patti, Joel, Susan, Sue....well words can't describe how blessed I feel
to know each and every one of you. Lastly, to our honorary graduate, Bob
Friesen, it was my pleasure to get to know you...thanks for your
involvement.
I definitely had the time of my life...this was the best journey I've
been on and from the looks and sounds of things, it will continue.

Besides catching up with old friends, such as
Liz Deady, Ginger Hill, and Barry Hidey [AND getting together earlier in
the week with Debbie Davis & Debbie Pon], I was happy to meet people I
didn't know in high school. Thank you, Veryl Carr, Rick & Linda Henry,
Mark Lange, and Jeff & Karen Stickles. "Muchas gracias" to the Reunion
Committee for making all of this possible. I really enjoyed it!

From Vicki Hall
- Hi guys, here are my thoughts on the evening…..
Overwhelmed, overjoyed, blown-away by the synergistic high I’m still
riding on after our 30th year love-fest. The big, sloppy kiss (promise, no
tongue Mrs. Goldsmith) and bear hug greeting from Dougy as I first entered
the lobby helped thaw the ice immediately!
From there dream-like, ethereal, and surreal for sure was what I felt
the moment I entered the room, but what was most amazing was the amount of
LOVE and CONNECTEDNESS I felt all evening and into this week. I never sat
down, hardly ate (with the exception of Mark McDougal force feeding me
those scallops wrapped in bacon!) from the lips to the hips….
I had forgotten how many people from Woodlawn Elementary had also gone
to WHS! How delicious to take in all of those brilliant smiles and have
all of those truly heartfelt catch-up conversations. Homeroom mate Barry
Hidey, from a shy, retiring, quiet kid has morphed into a gorgeous, better
looking than Omar Shariff, charismatic Methodist Minister!? Now That! was
incredible. I’m going to put together a Sunday revival field-trip to go
hear him speak at his church in Belair, MD-for all who are interested
contact me!
Well, I could go on for many a web page and speaking of which a special
thanks to our Web Masters, without you Rick and Mark and our amazing
dedicated committee, I know as a former special event fund-raiser, you all
were the epoxy and our links to each other, responsible for its colossal
success. An effervescent thanks to Camille Goldberg for recognizing me
months before in a Hallway in VA, I might not have been tracked down had
you not yelled out, “Vicki”! A blast from the past….

I too had a great time and want to extend my
sincerest thanks to all who contributed to putting the weekend's events
together. As you said, "it wasn't a reunion so much as a great party". I
was amazed at how many of us there are still in the area, and I hope we
continue to seek out and support one another as we continue on with our
lives. Are we a great looking bunch or what? Thanks again for
everything, and extend my thanks to the committee as well.

That was one hell of a party! I really enjoyed
myself and would have to say that if anyone didn't enjoy themselves it
was their own fault. I was so happy to see so many people that I hadn't
seen for so long. I'm sad to say that I didn't even get around the whole
room, so I'm sure there were many who I knew, but never got to talk to.
I'm looking forward to seeing some pictures, and possibly all the
pictures of attendees so that I can see who I did miss touching base
with...

Just wanted you to know it was a great success. I didn't realize
the impact it would have on me. Seeing old friends remembered and some
not remembered. My only regret was not being able to speak to everyone I
wanted. I have to tell you there were a few butterflies in the ole
breadbasket, But once I got over those the night just flew. In fact five
hours was not sufficient. It is like your wedding reception, not knowing
where the time went. By the way was Cheryl Pagel there? I didn't see
her, or I didn't recognize her...thank you for your tireless efforts in
making the Class of 73's Reunion one of the most memorable evenings of
my life. I truly mean that - I get a little choked up thinking about it.

I just wanted to thank everyone who worked so
hard to pull off the best reunion we could possibly have had. I've been
to other peoples reunions and this was by far the most enjoyable. I
think I had a smile on my face the entire time and so did everybody
else. Its amazing that those three short years at Woodlawn mean so much
to us, but they do. Thanks again to all of my classmates who made it
such an unforgettable evening. LETS DO IT AGAIN!!!!!!!!! SOON
